  1. I have owned this car for 7 months now and it NEVER smelled before last week. I am CERTAIN no one has peed in my car, spilled anything or peed in the doorjamb. I did a sniff test through out the car after vacuuming it. It smells like it's all over and coming from vents.. If its coming from vents which I believe it too, is it covered under warranty? I still have warranty coverage. Thank you.
  2. I have a 2012 Journey CVP. Which I bought used. I have owned for 6 months. My daughter and I entered the car a week ago and it smelled to high heaven, just like urine. I took it to the local dealer and they swear they don't know what is causing this issue. I paid 50.00 for a new cabin filter and it still smells. I vacuumed out the interior of the car, checked all the hidden areas for anything dead or decaying. We checked the engine, no signs of rats or other vermin nesting and I don't own any pets. Why is my car smelling like a male bathroom?
  3. Awh, that is just depressing. So basically I am stuck with uncomfortable seats, unless I want to pay a fortune to KAtzin for seats..
  4. good to know. and great questions to ask. I would not have thought of it. The seats from the wrecker are from a 2014 Journey are leather and look really good! I will have to find out if the harness is the same and the same for the connectors. The 2nd row seats look good too. May just replace all the seats with the ones from the wrecker. Good way to reduce, reuse and recycle. How can I find out? Passenger seat is manual not electric, which is fine. LESSON learned when you buy used, make sure you get what you want and need...
  5. I have a 2012 Dodge Journey CVP. I bought my Journey, too quickly and find my driver seat which is cloth and manual is also very uncomfortable. It feels like the foam has completely collapsed. The seat area and the back support feels nil.... I would like to switch it out, both front seats I found a pair of leather seats from an auto wrecker (they are in excellent condition.) Is this something which is easy to do? It would not affect the air bags, would it. Sorry for so many questions. I just like my car and want to make some affordable upgrades. I am on a budget, otherwise I would just upgrade my seats through a dealer, but that is not an option.
