Weilertool Posted October 4, 2019 Report Share Posted October 4, 2019 Tried loading pictures from USB drive to hard drive in car....could see thumbnails on USB drive, but once loaded to car hard drive, it becomes a black pic...how do I fix this? redtomatoman Posted October 4, 2019 Report Share Posted October 4, 2019 What year? 2011 and later don't have a hard drive, is my understanding. The uconnect system may not support JPEG format files. Could be the size of your jpg file in pixels. I have a 2010 RT and found that any pic over 625 pixels wide would cause the image to be black. It took me a few tries to get it right. Pics less than 600 pixels wide will cause you to have black borders on the sides of the pic, but that's just my experience not sure if it's true for other years and models. Good luck!
