  1. Here ya go, not the best pic though. Each one has 2 wires and one 8mm bolt holding it in. Matt
  2. FIXED! I located 2 speed sensors on the trans that are easily accessible by taking off the front driver's side wheel. Total for both was $60 so I decided just to change both. I have looked at a few other posts on here regarding the same issue, but people don't seem to post what the fix was, hope this helps someone else. Matt
  3. Did you ever get this figured out? I have the same problem with my 2012 and can't seem to find hardly any information online, I'm very frustrated as I can usually fix things myself if I can find help online.
  4. My 2012 SXT is having shifting issues, specifically it won't shift out of first gear. I disconnected the negative battery cable a few times and that fixed it for awhile, but not anymore. A shop scanned it and said they got a code for the shifter solenoid. I see I can purchase a new one for around $150. I'm pretty mechanical, but I can't find any info on where the solenoid is located or how to replace it. Has anyone else had this shifting issue? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Matt
  5. I have the 3.6 6 cylinder. I guess I was hoping someone on here might've done this recently and could provide some insight on what all I have to remove to get at it. I'm pretty mechanical, but I could always use some advice, shortcuts, special tools required or pitfalls. Looking online there isn't very much repair info on Journeys, especially considering how many are out there. I guess if I figure it out I will post info to help others. Matt
  6. My wife's 2012 died last night. She said the idiot light was on earlier, but she ignored it (Yes, there's a reason they call the lights that, lol). She jump started it and got it to start and run briefly. The battery is at least 3 years old, so that's due anyway. If that doesn't fix it I will do the alternator next. How bad is the alternator to change? Do I need any special tools? I tried looking on the internet, but I wasn't able to find much info. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Matt
