Kcjames Posted April 18, 2017 Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 Ok so I have a 2012 sxt AWD Journey, the problem I'm having is when I press on the accelerator I get a loud whistle, alomost sounds like air intake leak but the sound comes from the rear, the noise goes away when I let off the gas, any info would be Great thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
redtomatoman Posted April 19, 2017 Report Share Posted April 19, 2017 I certainly don't have any info, but think about things linked to the accelerator. Intake certainly. Also, exhaust and drive train components come to mind. I think you can rule out brakes and wheel components. I would doubt engine if the sound clearly seems to be coming from the rear.
