When ever I do a brake job on one of the cars we have, they always get cleaned up and a quick touch up to paint the brackets black and calipers silver. Both high temp paint but in the end, they always look nice and new. Just the personal touch haha. They sell caliper kits at Advanced auto and Autozone as well as I'm sure other places.
