2013 dodge journey problems

I purchased a 2013 left over Journey a couple of years ago. The past several months my key fob has gone crazy I've changed the batteries and it still refuses OFFand ON to allow me to get inside or even drive it.  The other day I had to go to the dealer to get 4 new tires and front alignment on a vehicle that has under 33,000 miles not mention new breaks including rotors at 22,000 miles (another story) and now the key fob the dealer is no help and really doesn't seem to care and neither does chrysler when I called them yesterday I told them I dont feel safe in this car and YES Im going to take both crazy fobs in for diagnoises to which I was told by my service person it may not show a problem....well its something attached is recent photos of this crazy fob thats going to get me killed. I did followed someone advice here about walking around my car locking and unlocking it to reset the fob? Well, the crazy fob made locking and unlocking noises but never actually unlocked my car....I work late at night closing a building down by myself and the parking lot is pretty empty when I go outside, what am I going to do if someone chases me and my car wont unlock or start....die, little dramatic but geeze its not normal.  This car is such a disappointment between brakes, tires and now the crazy fob (both fobs are nuts).  ANY SUGGESTIONS on possibly fixing this or ideas whats causing it ? Im scheduling appt. But I got a sneaky feeling they won't find diddly wrong "unless" they can charge me then they will find lots wrong.  I wonder if some drunk employee installed the fobs everyone seems to have issues and they need to recall these fobs.    Please (See photos below) ..Thanks

Think of the FOB as a transmitter.  The receiver (WIN Module?) has to be bad because it is not receiving the signal from either FOB.

Moved to the correct section. I believe there is a recall on the FOB, IIRC. As far as the tires and brakes, those are consumable items and without knowing if you purchased this vehicle new or used or how you drive, I cannot really comment or offer advise. My 2013 is still on the original brakes at 47,000 miles. Had to replace my tires at about 40,000 miles. If your tires were the OEM Kuhmo's, some people have good luck and some don't.

It's a '13 . . . . . the only recalls are the beauty cover (if it's a 2.4) the power steering hoses and the one to seal up the ABS/TC module cable entry point.  They don't even include the '13 in the NAV recall, even though it is equipped with the affected model of the radio.

Sorry that I entered this in wrong spot, site is a little confusing.  I get what your saying about the tires are wear and tear but not at 22k & 32k I would have understood it at 50 or 60k thats when my first set of tires and breaks were done in my taurus , again thats another topic.  The service lady was pretty certain they wouldnt find a problem with my fob because it happens off and on, Is this true?.  And when I voiced my concerns to chrysler they never mentioned the fob was recalled and neither did my service person and I  never got mail stating it was recalled?  Was it recalled? I cant locate info.

No.  It was never recalled for the FOBs.  As to tire wear, the Kuhmo tires that come on the vehicle from the factory are relatively soft and your local roads and driving style can also impact on their longevity.  in any case you should still be covered by the 3 year warranty?  If yes, you might want to consider buying an extended warranty from FCA - do not buy an aftermarket plan.  Some will say that they aren't worth the cost, but with today's increasingly complex vehicles, even a simple repair can cost more than a grand.

In the US, the Factory Warranty does not cover the tires.  She will have to go to Khumo and see if she can get a credit.  Of course, she would have to buy another set of Khumos, but not necessarily the same ones that come from the Factory.  Goodyear did this for me on one of my Jeeps.
