jctoolman Posted October 4, 2008 Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 I purchased a 2009 Journey SE with the Safe and Sound and Exterior Appearance package. I wanted a remote start and the Sirius Satellite option. 3 separate dealerships and the dodge.com and dodge.ca web sites told me that this shouldn't be a problem. When the dealer went to install the satellite and remote start, they could not make them work. - The remote started would not function because Dodge made a change to the wiring harness between June 08 and July 08 - not compatible now. Any one have anyidea when an updated Remote Start for the 2.4 L engine will be released? - The REN touchscreen radio I have is not compatible with Sat (i.e. no connector for the sat antenna on the back). Does anyone know if there's a wiring harness to let me use the REN with satellite on an SE model. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide...
