12v power outlets

Some of these outlets on SOME cars are switched in such a way that the vehicle has to be "ON" to have juice to these outlets.

I have one car that works that way and it sucks to THINK you are charging something while you are n the store,

only to come back and find it's deader than a door nail.

I am just putting that out there to see if that is the case.

The center console might be a disconnected lead to that recepticle. Not sure how you would check for that.

I guess this goes on the check list for things to look at BEFORE I take delivery!

My 2009 has a total of 4 outlets. 2 under the dash, 1 in center console facing the rear seat and 1 in the cargo area. The 2 under the dash and 1 facing the rear seat are not working! The one in the cargo area does....I've check the fuses and all are fine. Any ideas???

Thanks!

Dash Board:

Top plug: car must be running

Bottom plug: plug stays on 24/7

Arm rest plug: stays on 24/7

Trunk plug: car must be running
