2late4u Posted May 5, 2018 Report Share Posted May 5, 2018 well this has nothing to do about our journeys BUT my grandsons 2006 Pontiac grand prix started to over heat yesterday and before the heat gets in the danger zone, the car shuts off the air conditioning and shows a warning that it is because the car is going into engine protection mode, HUH thought that was a great idea all cars should have. Ended up being a stuck thermostat so the garage did a flush of the system and replaced it. saved him from burning up the engine as most young people like him doesn't pay any attention to the car,,,, jkeaton 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
