feman Posted February 7, 2018 Report Share Posted February 7, 2018 Hello, I have a Dodge journey 2008 2.0crd and I have a problem with my automatic transmissioon. After transmission oil changing, the vehicle suddnely stopped and the transmission was blocked, i couldn`t change the gear at all. I decided to repair it at my company workshop and they open the transmission. The clutch plates was welded for each other, just like it was without oil inside. Then I bought all new parts for the clutch, in the meantime we open the gearbox and dismantled all parts. Everything else looks fine. We wash all parts and mount it again, but, nothing happens, it won`t work at all. By the diagnostic is shown that the TCU (ECU) part which has number 7M5R-14C2-47-AD, does not work. SO I bought other one and change it. After that my transmission starts but it keeps running only in odd numbers, it goes in 1,3 and 5 gear and loose power in even numbers 2,4,and 6 gear, just like it has no oil pressure. We change the the seals on the mechatronic but it the same. Can you tell me what could it be wrong? Since I do not have any idea anymore... Is it possible maybe to find in USA some good used transmission this type? Or is it possible to change complete engine and the gearbox and put from Fiat freemont?
