  1. Let answer the original message. My trailer cost was 1900.
  2. I purchased mine from diamond cargo trailers in DouglasGA. My journey never did get very good mileage with tailed attached. My mind an with same power plant and transmission. Got exact mileage as journey. My trailer weights is 1175 empty.6 foot by 12 foot with 2 foot v. Any way I don't have Thato problem any more got rid of journey. Have a 3500 prom aster with diesel engine.
  3. Yes big jump but don't need another hobby. Running car back and forth to get it repaired.
  4. Picked it up. I had driven my be 30 miles and it quit again. Had it towed back to dealership and traded it off for a 2014 prom aster 3500 with 3.0 liter diesel engine.
  5. Received update from dealership. Transmission isn't damaged they are saying it was a computer failure. I have never seen a computer failure disable a car before.
  6. Towed 1500lb trailer 30 miles round trip. Had no issues with loss of power shiftedown fine. Park car for a week went to start it and back out of driveway and no pulling power. Journey as it dealership they are saying it was total faliure. Funny thing is I have towed this same TraI let with a ram cc with no issues for 6000 miles. Guess we will see if it is covered under warranty. Buy the way car had 12000 miles on was v6 with tow package.
  7. I towed my trailer from Vincennes Indiana to rockhill in it is about 200 miles round trip . I did this trip in the company van dodge ram cv same drive train as the journey same fuel mileage as the journey.
  8. I have seen coolant temps at 220 on a hot day witb out towing any thing. Three days ago I was running the interstate. Trans temp was hovering at 194.
  9. I checked with dealer and they acted like trans temps at 220 to 230 werent any big deal.
  10. My trans temp on high elevations was 220 to 230 degrees. Oil temp ran about 197 and coolant temp was 220 a couple of times. I will post pics of my rig when I figure out how to post them. Nice looking rig. And welcome aboard.
  11. Did you use the evic to figure or math ? My evic is way more generous than it needs to be. Plus I was running all mountains.
  12. What of fuel economy do you get ? I just towed my 6x12 box 600 miles one way most of the way it was around 13.6. And what gear do you drive in ?
  13. Yes, pulling it through the mountains of Tennessee and Kentucky it was a little rough on the fuel bill. Leaving out of Douglas Georgia going to Atlanta I used a half of tank of gas. It worked out to 13.63 mpg. Once I got through Atlanta and Started up the mountains It got a little worse. Arrived in Kentucky and it got a little better. After thought would I do it again probably not. Did I have fun you bet.
  14. First trip towing trailer was 600 miles one way. I think trailer hits scales at 1100 pounds. gas mileage was around 13.5 to 18 .
