  1. sounds like a body control module issue...had the dead battery and a few other minor issues and they replaced the module...said that the connection was loose and it "fried" the connections.
  2. Apparently the wiring connection to the body contol module was loose. They said that caused the connections to "melt"? and failure of the module. Installed a new module, programmed, and all is well.
  3. 2012 Journey Crew, 1657 miles, less than a month old...The battery light indicator came on...we called the dealer service, he said ok to drive, so bring it in, they would check. Stopped for an errand and when i pressed the start button, nothing....Called dealership, told us to call AAA and then come in and they would relace the battery. We did and while we were waiting we were going to see if the radio worked so i pressed the button and walla! it started,so we cancelled AAA. The battery light was no longer on but now the yellow engine light was on, we called the dealership and he said to continue in so we completed our trip to the dealer. When we got the dealer, he had a loaner ready for us and indicated that would have to check it our more closely. So we wiat to hear from them on Monday.
  4. In the second seat, one could cut the "hump" portion off creating two separate "trays" allowing easier access to the coolers. Would have to weigh the loss of the protection over the "hump" May be just as easy to remove the second seat mats when needing frequent access to coolers.
  5. We have Weathertechs in my Dakota...They seem to be "curling-up" so we investigated both Weathertech and Husky for our new Crew. Talked with the rep and found out Husky were a little softer but not as thick..Ordered and recieved the less expensive Husky's. The "diamond" design is a bit industrial, but heah, you only put your feet on them and ours are black. They fit extremely well, very adequate height to the pan, were definitely softer and just a bit thinner, but still substantial enough, than the weathertechs. The cargo tray came rolled up but flattened out overnight and fits very nicely. Certainly not regretting them so far...
