  1. can you please provide light output from your car, with your headlight? I wold like to see output at night, how far you can see with low beam and high beam.

    Thank you,

I deployed overseas so I'm not able to get the pictures right now.

  2. I did see that the calipers changed in 2012 and my journey has the larger calipers since it was made in November 2011. As for the calipers being painted that has nothing to do with the rims rubbing on the caliper. I took off enough paint to see if that could be the issue and it was not it, what sucks now is I have to touch up the paint on my caliper.
  3. I did some research today and found something very interesting. According to the mopar part site the front caliper part number's changed after 2012, so now I'm wondering what difference did they make on the calipers that were made 2013-2015.
  4. Hello, when I matched the bulbs that came with it they have the yellow color to them and when I changed to the Sylvania zXe bulbs I had a much clearer white light. The bulbs that come with them are made by AU-lite which I never heard of, also once installed you will need to do the adjustment to level you headlights out. You can find the bulbs on amazon much cheaper, you will need to get the H7 low beams and H1 high beams if you do change them.
  5. The dealership could not get the rims to mount on the front they did rub on the calipers. They had no clue why they rub but they checked the part numbers and found out the crossroad front calipers have a different part number. I will keep doing my research on this maybe find a crossroad and do my own measurements.
  6. I just replaced my headlight assemblies and I did have to pull on the bumper to get them out. I did put a thin layer of tape on the bumper so it didn't get scratched, it does take some patience to get them out but they will come out. You will notice my headlights don't seem too bright but they are actually brighter than my OEM headlights. I did change the bulbs to the Sylvania zXe bulbs because the ones that came with it were not too bright. Also the amber light bar comes on only for the turn signals, I just had my hazards on at the time to show them working.
  7. I totally agree at this point after so much research nothing makes sense. Every oem 19" rim on the journey's are all the exact same size. That is why I'm going to the dealer to find out what is going on, hopefully they have the answer I'm looking for.
  8. I do have the larger calipers on the front and small calipers on the rear. I do see the same rims I have are still being used on newer models, I think the deeper dish on the crossroad rim is the problem. I will see the dealer tuesday and l'm hoping they can give me an answer and solution. I will let you know what I find out.
  9. The tire shop did mount one and I just tried myself. The rim does rub on the front caliper because of the spoke design. I will ask the dealer what was done with the 2015 models for the rim to fit.
  10. I did get the 2015 crossroad rims and the tire shop said the caliper on the front would not let the rim sit properly. I did so much research and it does not make sense on what the tire shop said. The OEM 2012 19" rims have the exact measurement as the OEM ones I just bought. Long story short the dealer said the new rims will work so I will have them do the work. I'm hoping this works if not the seller will give me a full refund if it doesn't work.
  11. Does anyone know if you can use the 2015 crossroad rims 19" on a 2012 journey with 19" oem rims. I heard a rumor the crossroad rim will rub against the front calipers, any help would be appreciated.
  12. I don't know how the daylight running lights work for these assemblies because I don't have daylight running lights as a feature. I apologize about the picture confusion because I had my four ways on and that's what you see with the amber light bar, they only come on when the turn signal or hazards are used. The assemblies do have an amber side maker that is always on. The white halo's were plug and play and I believe the original turn signal wire is used for the halo's now. There is a separate ballast that is now used for the amber light bar. The headlights do seem dim but they are actually pretty bright, I think they look dim because of the smoked lens. I did change the cheap bulbs that came with them H7/H1 and replaced them with the Sylvania zXe bulbs and now they are much brighter. The original bulbs had the yellow color and now the zXe's show a much brighter clearer white light. Take a look at the amazon link above and it shows great pictures of the assemblies front and back.
  13. Here is the amazon link to the headlights and it does say they fit 2009-2015 journeys. The black assemblies will cost $370.00 and the chrome ones are $350.00. I would suggest getting better bulbs if you buy them because they use generic bulbs for the high/low (H7/H1). I bought the Sylvania zXe bulbs for around $70.00 for both sets from amazon. If you go to the parts store they will cost $60.00 per set and the light output is way better with the Sylvania bulbs. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017OK4OHS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  14. I did install them myself and it was not too difficult, they are plug and play. I only had to remove the front grill which is easy to do.
  15. To everyone interested, this is the link to where I bought my headlight assemblies from. The black ones cost $370.00 and the chrome $350.00 from amazon, it is a simple installation which is plug and play. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017OK4OHS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
