  1. Ok, so I got the new OEM sensor, and installed it, was working great for about 600 miles, then the P0344 came back Any more ideas?
  2. While I am waiting for the part, would you happen to know why the traction control shuts off at the same time?
  3. No, that's my next step, I have one on order from the dealership
  4. Ok, I'm back.............replaced the Camshaft sensor, drove ti work (about 60 miles) on my way home, the light came on again, and the traction control light as well, P0344 is the code. It drives fine, except it won't sift into 6th gear, but I can manually shift, and it runs fine. What should I be looking for at this point?
  5. Oh, and FYI for anyone looking for it, it is under the alternator, you can get to it without taking off the alt, but be VERY careful that you don't drop the bolt. When I put my bolt back in, I used electrical tape, and taped it on the socket, just enough to hold it, got it threaded, then pulled the socket off, and finished tightening it up.
  6. Ok, my bad......I think, so I went to take the new one out and take it back, when I went to put the original in, it slipped right in, and I thought that was odd, so I pulled it back out, and there was no O ring on it, I thought great, it fell down somewhere, then I looked at the jew one I just took out and there were two O rings on it, took one off, put it back in, and so far so good.
  7. OK, so I found it, replaced it, now the light comes on in about 3-4 mins after starting, before it would come on every week or so, is there something else i need to do?
  8. Thank you!!!! I will have to take a look today and see if I see it, I looked last night like crazy with a flashlight.
  9. I have a 2009 Journey, and I have the service manual, but I cannot for the life of me find the location of this sensor, it says "mounted in the front of the head" I can't seem to find it. Can anyone help? Thanks
  10. I have no reservations about doing it, I just want to know where it is located and how easy it is to replace.
  11. Does anyone have detailed instructions on replacement the EGR valve on an 09 Journey 3.5L? Location, etc. I am getting the P0406 code, and have been for a while, need to get it smogged next month Thanks
  12. It litterally took me 45 mins to complete.....nothing really yo note other then when you are putting it back together, put the rotor on before the calipers. LOL I caught myself before I bolted it on.
  13. Ok, so everything that I read said that it would be the pass side bearing. Just to make sure I jacekd it up, and tried the wheels to see if there was any play in them, I couldn't tell the difference from Drivers to pass side, so I lifted the whole things up, ran it up to 40 MPH, and still couldn't tell there was no sound at all. So I got in it and drove around with the windows dows to see if I could tell, and still no............so I went with my guy, and changed the drivers side, because that is where it sounded like it started, and I am glad that I did, it was indeed the drivers side.
