  1. On a subsequent visit to the dealer, I was told that the "drivers convenience group" (backup camera. etc.) on the R/T model was intended to work with the 8.4" screen - which has been in short supply. I gather that for other models, the 8.4" screen is not required for the backup camera.
  2. One of my local dealers has suggested that I may have to wait until January to get a 2012 model Journey R/T (which includes the 8.4" screen).
  3. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a 2011 Dodge Journey R/T or wait until the 2012's arrive. I realize that there have been previous issues with the UConnect Voice with Bluetooth, and now there seem to be no more units with Garmin Navigation and paint colours are limited. It now appears that any remaining 2011 R/T's being shipped to BC do not include the "drivers convenience group" (backup camera. etc.) Does anyone know why this is?
  4. This is a routine issue with any aerodynamic vehicle. I find that with my 2005 Suzuki Aerio SX, this is a significant problem. If I open windows "diagonally" (such as front driver and rear passenger) the problem is reduced.
  5. It appears that the remaining inventory of R/T's in western Canada that have 7 seats appear to have either the Uconnect voice or the Garmin navigation (but not both). As I want both, I'm told that I may have to wait until the 2012 model is available. However, I'm getting some conflicting information from two dealers in British Columbia. A Victoria dealer is telling me that I may have to wait until January 2012 for the 2012 model Dodge Journey. A Vancouver dealer is telling me that pricing for the 2012 model should be available within a couple of weeks, with production (in Mexico) starting in about a month. The 2012 Journey should be showing up at dealers in mid-September. As these are two very different "stories" - can anyone tell me what the real situation is?
