  1. So for about a year our 2010 Dodge Journey RT has been leaking Power steering fluid, and well I kept hoping that a recall would happen in Canada. Sure enough it did. So I booked the car in there about a month ago and had the recall preformed. Now I had read the recall online and it stated Cooler, and return hoses. On my bill it only states a hose. Fast forward 3 weeks later, wife calls me at the office, says her car is making weird and stange noises etc. I get in it, and it sounds like a fan belt. Look under the hood and see out of PS fluid, tell her to take it to the dealership, The tell her that its the pressure hose Mopar Part 05085449AC that's the issue now, at a cost of $70 for the hose and $300 for labor to do it. So I do notice that we have fluid on the ground near the drivers side front tire. Does anyone have some pictures, or done this before? My father in law is an old mechanic and loves his Grand Caravan, so we are thinking of doing it ourselves but I'd like to see what I'm up against if anyone has done before or has some pictures. I believe there is a US recall for the pressure hose but not on in Canada. Thanks Winky
  2. Thanks for the input, the batteries I've used are from London Drugs or Shoppers the Engergizer ones in the pack. I looked through the manual and nothing on programming the door locks. Last night it took about 6 or 7 clicks from inside the house (which is 10ft from the back of the car, through the window to get it to lock the doors. Thanks Winky
  3. Hi there I was hoping for some advice We have a 2010 Dodge Journey with remote start ( 4 button fob) our current fobs are not unlocking the doors all the time, it takes like 5-10 press to get it lock or unlock. We've replaced the batteries a few times in the past month. So now i'm looking to purchase new remotes or a solution 1. Can I reprogram my current remotes? to resync them? 2. I'm lost on which remote to order, I really don't want have to use a dealership to program it, I'm reading that with 2 working remotes I should be able to program a new one, but then some of the remotes I've read about say that 2010 and newer require a dealership. Anyone shed some advice on this? And point me to a place to get replacement remotes? (catch is i'm in Canada) Thanks in advance Winky
