Check out the other discussions about shimming on their Journey's around 60 mph, this is due to the rear bumper flapping, and some people have said it is worse if you get mudflaps.

After 28,000 US miles on my 09 Journey, I was following my wife yesterday and notice that we have a brake light out. Seems awful soon to have a brake light out after only 28K miles. Anyone else have any issues. I will probably replace with LED. Chris

Dealer update, I took it in and they tried to repair w/o any luck. They ordered the part and went back in a week later and they replaced it. Best price $0

newguy, I have had my 09 journey for a year and no issues with sunroof or anything else. I haven't had the brakes checked yet, but dealer didn't mention anything out of the norm at my last oil change. Only problem I had was the drivers sill plate had to be replaced, it wouldn't go back down bent clips. Besides that I love, my SXT except for the fact now I have a 6 mo old and wish I got the rear entertainment package.....

Returned from a about a 1400 mile trip. Averaged 22mph in my SXT FWD. Usually get 18 around town.

The plastic piece that snaps into the body that holds the carpet down is coming off on the drivers side. Since the driver's side is used the most it is starting to get annoying. I have tried to putting it back down but it looks like I have bent the plastic clips Will go to dealer today to have them look at it or see how much $$ it will cost to replace.

I have the same tires, found out they are only 40,000 mile tires. I went to Discount tire and purchased a lifetime rotate\balance warranty along with road hazard. Hopefully this will save me from freq. re balancing.

I found a pdf version online before my journey arrived, so I read up on on all the features while I was waiting for my order to come in.

Found this on Pg 47 of owners man. BeltAlert􏰄 Programming The BeltAlert􏰄 can be enabled or disabled by your authorized dealer or by performing the following steps: NOTE: The manufacturer of this vehicle does not recommend deactivating the BeltAlert􏰄 1. With all doors closed, and the ignition switch in any position except ON or START, buckle the driver’s seat belt. 2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, (engine does not need to be running). Wait for the Seat Belt Reminder Light to turn off and then proceed to the next step. NOTE: You must perform the following steps within 60 seconds of turning the ignition switch to the ON position. 3. Unbuckle the driver’s seat belt, allow the seat belt to retract, and then re-buckle the driver’s seat belt at least three times, ending with the seat belt buckled. NOTE: Watch for the Seat Belt Reminder Light to turn on while the seat belt retracts and turn off while rebuckling the seat belt. It may be necessary to completely retract the seat belt each time. 4. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming. The BeltAlert􏰄 can be reactivated by repeating this procedure. NOTE: When the BeltAlert􏰄 is deactivated, the Seat Belt Reminder Light will continue to illuminate as long as the driver’s seat belt is unbuckled/retracted.

Here in Central Indiana (Indianapolis), I don't see too many other Journey's. The most I seen was on a recent trip to Orlando, where the rental companies had some so they were more popular to see them.

The Nav option should only be the screen at the top of the dash. It is not touch screen just joystick\voice. If you get MyGig w/o Nav, you get the touch screen at the bottom of the dash.

That is not rare, that is the NAV option.
