  1. I can't see a FIAT badged Journey going down to well over here in UK ---I doubt we will get it---They wont keep the Right hand drive production line running for just a couple of dozen sold in UK. Only the terminaly uninformed & uninterested buy Fiats in UK. & as for anything with a Lancia badge on ...lets not go there!!
  2. You wont see any Lancia Badges in UK ---Not after the last crock of crap they turned out. .. Any models that come out of this union , will be badged Chrysler for USA & UK & Lancia for the rest of Europe & the export market. . If the Journey does continue being sold over here It is most likely to be badged a Chrysler or a FIAT.
  3. A new 7 seat MPV, Mini Van, People carrier, or whatever you want to call them , will be available in UK in early 2011. Its the Chevy Orlando. Not sure if it will be available in USA. Looks like the Journey will have some more competition!!
  4. Very strange !!! My Diesel Patriot wasnt the quietest car on the road , but acceptable. I had a Loaner CRD Journey SE for 3 days & I remember saying to my wife that it was possibly the most quiet diesel vehicle I have ever driven. I used check the Tacho at traffic lights just to make sure the engine was running as it was so quiet. Maybe yours is an early import ...I understand some of the early ones were a little rough around the edges......
  5. Never " Top off" any MOPARS . If that canister sensor gets wet with fuel , you may find it will start throwing up Codes & non starting probs!!
  6. Well done !! Nice try mate......At least they wrote back to you .....
  7. I'm just wondering if the Journey , in UK, ends up with Chrysler badging?? This will still give Chrysler UK an MPV (Mini Van) under the size of the old Voyager short wheelbase. This might be a good idea otherwise they would only have the larger Grand Voyager to offer the British public ---Just a thought!!
  8. The light will also operate when you apply the park brake. Make sure your park brake frees completely , when you release it!!
  9. Yea I had a chat with my dealer last week , but I think they are in a state of "Flux" at the moment. The sales manager mentioned the 2.2 Diesel for the Patriot & maybe the Jeep Compass may get a re-launch back here in UK. They were also looking forward to some Chrysler badged Lancias in the future. A tech told me " Its only the brand name we are losing , other than that everything will remain much the same . However I'm not too sure exactly what this means????
  10. Yea Cheffy I also remember you from JP.com. I still visit now & again. As you stated the Journey is a UK bargain right now . I had a Journey SE 6 speed CRD as a loner a few weeks back & was mightily impressed. I'm doing a little hunting around & a Journey is still on the " Wish List"........Are you getting Auto or Manual??? Enjoy you Journey , when It arrives mate....Cheers....
  11. Hello cheffy----I traded my Patriot for an Avenger SXT 2.4 Auto. Yep plenty of good deals on Journeys over here. ........Pity its a run out model & we wont be getting anymore Dodges over here!!
  12. Dodge is finished in UK---so you wont be seeing this over here!!-----Jeep & Chrysler only in UK from now on---shame!!
  13. Its a strange thing but UK Dodges all come with a 3yr , 60.000 mile warranty , brakes & Clutches 2 yrs. I reckon that with a little dealer discretion all these things would have been fixed in UK. My Avenger brakes wore out at 11,000 miles & 18 months , dealer replaced discs ( rotors) & pads all under warranty & no charge to me!!
  14. Take it back under warranty-----I dont know what you get in your part of the world , but here in UK its 3 years or 30,000 miles
