  1. For me it was. I can feel the power improvements and it makes my R/T more R/T. Next mod it to install Magna Flow exhaust which should add a deeper sound and more HP. But that will be a while before I start that project.
  2. I have a 2010 Dodge Journey FWD R/T with a K&N Typhoon cold air intake filter kit 69-2543TTK and just added an HyperTech Max Energy Performance Tuner. Together I am getting roughly +19 HP and +26 Torque. It breaks out to +12.31 HP/ +11 Torque from the CAI and +7 HP/ +15 Torque from the HyperTech Tuner. Additionally, the tuner allows you to adjust the rev limiter by +/- 100rpms to a max of +/- 500rpms, change axle ratios and top speed based on tire rating. You can hear and feel the power in these additions. As for gas mileage I average 20.5 mpg with mix city and highway driving (385 miles per fill up) and 23/24mpg with highway driving (420 miles per fill up).
  3. Went to the website and looks good. Do you know if your low/high beams both are HID? I was reading on the website that if it wasn't that the kit is for low beams.
  4. It's made for the Avenger 3.5L engine. The mod you will have to make is with the fresh air intake scoop. The Journey will not fit into the K&N heat shield as it was made to fit the Avenger. All I did was take the existing hose from the engine to the OEM air box and cut it to run from the fresh air intake scoop to the heat shield. At least in my Journey the heat shield fit snug and perfect without having to use the screws provided to secure it in the engine bay, I have been driving it for about a month with no issues of it coming loose. Here's a link of the instructions and maybe you can see what I am talking about. Good luck. http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/69-2543_inst.pdf. Thanks for the comment.
  5. This is my 2010 Dodge Journey FWD R/T photos of my mods/changes. Everything was purchased on eBay at great prices (except the shifter knob, got that at Auto Zone) and installed by me This definitely saved me a ton on money. Mods/Changes: R/T Badge (Mopar for a Charger) Chrome gas cap (Mopar) Pedal Cover Kit (Mopar) Mud flaps front and rear (Mopar) Chrome side mirror covers AVS bug shield K&N Typhoon cold air intake filter kit 69-2543TTK Billet shifter knob CoastalEtech Mygig Lockpick CHR 550 unlock NAV/iPhone-Ipod-Ipad interface Cobra I-radar (bluetooth) Jailbroken Iphone 4 (4.3.3)
  6. I have a 2010 R/T fully loaded and I have been lucky so far with no major problems. After looking at the redesigned Journey I would go for the 2011. Better engine, interior and another year to work on problems from 09 and 10. Good luck either way.
