  1. I will give it a shot. I looked at it last night but was too dark. They don't make things easy anymore. I can't imagine someone bringing it to Dealer. Thanks Nice Avatar too.. Changing the Tail Lamp or Backup Lamp Open the liftgate. Remove the two fasteners retaining the taillamp housing to the liftgate from the inboard face of the liftgate. Carefully insert a trim stick (plastic flat-blade tool) between the taillamp housing and the liftgate. Use the trim stick and hand pressure together to disengage the taillamp housing from the liftgate. Rotate the applicable bulb's electrical connector ¼ turn counterclockwise and remove it from the housing. 1 — Tail Lamp Bulb 2 — Backup Lamp Bulb Remove the bulb from the connector socket and install the replacement bulb. Install the bulb and connector assembly into the housing and rotate the connector ¼ turn clockwise to lock it in place. Reinstall the taillamp housing and fasteners.
  2. How to do I change the rear pass side signal bulb? I have new bulb but owners manually doesn't describe how to open? Help!
  3. My gas pedal broke off when I was at a dead stop accelerating pass a gravel truck. Not an nice feeling when you go from 50 - 0km to a gravel shoulder as the lane is ending. Luckily I wasn't on the highway and get rear ended at 110 by someone behind me. I brought it in and Dealer never heard of this before-ever! Anyways, they took pictures fixed under warranty as the truck has under 6000kms. They mentioned that this hard plastic (with no metal inners) is on every new vehicle...even the Challengers. 500 horse or whatever with a plastic gas pedal - makes do sense...a fatality waiting to happen. Glad I was alone & the kids/wife weren't there. Had to drive to the Dealer with my big toe shoved under the steering wheel to where the gas pedal broke off. Took my own pictures too. What to do.
  4. This will be the first winter for my 2010 R/T and want to make sure it's safe for the family. What is the best/recommended winter rim & tire size for this vehicle. Your thoughts....
  5. I heard they are possibly coming out with an SRT 6 - don't know may just be a rumor....BUT the new Jeeps just look like a Journey anyways...LOL How bout an SRT 6 or SRT 8 Journey....they could sell in place of Caliber/Durango which is what I thought the Journey was.
  6. Will get some better pics up once the detailings done>>>
  7. 2 months old-bad seal near tranny spitting oil burning off into cabin-corrected under warranty. 2 months old gas pedal broke off from a dead start at a light while trying to pass gravel truck.-could have been killed if it was on a Highway but corrected under warranty and got a free soccer ball....... No joke...who make a car with a plastic gas pedal....I guess that's what happens when you try to save $ and out source vehicle production South of the border...
  8. Hi ALL. I just bought a new truck for the wife. 2010 Journey R/T-Black, loaded, NAV, 3rd row, DVD, 19" chromes...etc. It was owned by the Dealership's owner and had like 6000k/3750miles. 4 days after I got it both fron tweeters went and smoke was coming into cabin when stopped or idiling. Brought it back they fixed speakers and told me they couldn't find anything on the smoke. I drove it to work the next day and it smoked. Brought it to diferent dealer and they found the problem and had it fixed in 2 days. (bad seal near tranny spitting oil and when hit manifold or muffler it would obviously burn off.) Lastly, the GAS PEDAL BROKE OFF. Took pictureds brought it back in and they repaired. Everything was warranty and plus I had the 360 warranty which is worth the extra $1500-2000 especially with all the electronics in the car. So, far no further issues. I enjoy driving the car, great hwy gas mileage but make sure you bring your car into a Dealership that knows what they're doing and is not just out trying to make a quick buck and doesn't want to do warranty work. My only concern to ALL is that I have heard that ALL NEW DODGE products have hard plastic gas pedals, even the Challenger. WHY would they do that?? Keep an eye out on this or write a letter to DODGE. This could be the next TOYOTA-like recall. I know they try to save $ but one fatality law suit over a break pedal and I'm sure it would hurt. Take care, drive safe, and HAVE FUN! HAPPY JULY 4-to my US firends. Pics to come...I'm a newbie here so be nice.
  9. Hello All.... I'm a owner of a 2010 Dodge Journey R/T....LOADED! (I've been TOLD it's the wife's truck..LOL!)
