  1. Well, we have a customer with a 2010 Journey and that is what we are trying, or at least tried. We put a clock spring in it and that didn't work, so now we moved on to the switch.
  2. I have a front wheel drive 2010 Journey SXT, a couple of months ago, we starting noticing when going up hill there was a shutter in the transmission and the engine would sound like its starting to knock. I checked all of the fluid levels and they were all okay, but we could only replicate the problem when we were going up hill and the engine rpm bogs down. but once the transmission shifts it stops doing it. Has anybody else had this issue and/or know of a possible fix for this?
  3. Has anybody ever tried putting a horn switch in the Journey to fix the random honking?
  4. Thank you for the help, I will have to try that out. I will let you know how it goes when its done.
  5. So, my wife and I have separate keys, the #1 key FOB works fully, which is the one that she has. The one that I have will lock the vehicle and everything else on the FOB works, but it wont unlock the vehicle. I have tried replacing the FOB battery and it did not work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  6. So, I am a Technician at a Chevrolet dealer who used to be a Mopar dealer. We had a customer come in with a 2010 Dodge Journey SXT and they had a complaint of the horn sounding when they turn the left turn signal on and proceed to turn and the horn sounds. We are starting with putting a clock spring in it and see if that fixes it. On another note, I as well have a 2010 Dodge Journey SXT and our alarm starting sounding at 2 am. At first i thought it was the neighborhood we lived in, because honestly its not all flowers and rainbows. Then we stayed with my mother for some of her health issues, and we noticed that the car did it again, and there are rarely ever any break ins out in the country because, hey who wants to get shot and thrown in the woods to fed the wildlife. About a month or two later, it did it again, in the same area. So I know nobody is trying to break in. I have been reading on the forms for a couple of days now and i have not seen any recent posts about this issue for a while, I'm just trying to figure out what the deal is, and it will make my wife happy if there is a fix for this common Journey issue.
