  1. Wow. You were right about the price on rockauto. Thanks for the tip John/Horace. With their price, the quality control arm fits well within my budget compared to literally everywhere else!
  2. Hi, I'm about to redo my whole front suspension on my 2016 SXT and I'd like your opinion on something. My budget is limited and my two main options for the control arms are going with whole new lower control arm from AutoShack or keep my old ones and replace the bushings with Moog's. Auto Shack seems to be a canadian parts store with very low price and mostly the complaints against it that I can find is about their costumer service. Otherwise their parts quality are mostly unknown to me, online reviews generally states that the parts was good. Moog suspension parts brand are well known but cost more so I couldn't buy their whole assembly, only the bushings that I'd swap. So, what do you guys think?
  3. Hi, while browsing in a junkyard I stumbled upon a brand new pair of rear struts. Barely even seen the road before getting smashed. I obviously pulled them off as I was about to replace mines some time soon. On my Journey I have the performance suspension, before I start taking everything apart, anyone know if the touring one would fit? On some websites it say that the Touring does not fit on vehicle equipped with the performance one...
  4. I've tried the closest one and they could only sell me the color matching pen. I assumed that it was the same for the others as well but I could get lucky.
  5. Sadly it does, aerosol paint cans can't be shipped internationally. I will still check on your link as there was the option to buy a pint which might not have the same restrictions. I didn't find any body shop around willing to sell the paint alone so that is to be considered. Thank you!
  6. I had the same issue with mine 300km after my warranty ended (ノ•̀ o •́ )ノ ~ ┻━┻ But the one on the passenger side is the most accessible. I suggest that you practice unplugging one of your rear sensor to familiarize with the mechanism of the plug.
  7. Hi, I was looking to make some touch up on my 2016 white Journey but can't seem to find the PW3 color in spray paint anywhere in Canada. I know a real body shop would make a better job than I could but it's far out of my budget. Any idea where I could find that? Thanks y'all
  8. Hi, I had the EXACT same problem you're having and I found a pair of canbus cancellor that fixed it. They were specifically made to work with the TIPM for Dodge car. Here is the link of what I used. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B072QCBQSM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
  9. If you tap directly into the interior light fuse you should be able to achieve that. After a quick Google search it seems to be the Fuse number 101 in the interior fuse box at the feet passenger side. For mine I taped into the bin power outlet fuse to have them on all the time when driving and it was way much easier than removing a bunch of trim pieces.
  10. For those who might come across the same problem has me, a decoder that specified working with TIPM module solved my problem.
  11. It was 3 different sets from 3 different brand. At first I thought the set I bought was too cheap but the 9005 of this brand dim for the DRL and go full brightness for high beam. And I tried with different LED chip (Cree/Cob)
  12. Hi, I want to install LED for my low beam but I ran into the same problem with every set I bought. I tried three different 9006 bulb and they all work fine when I open them without the motor running, when I start the motor they stay on for a second and the they turn off. I tried with a Canbus cancellor and with a load resistor and every combination possible of those but always the same problem. Anyone has any ideas of what I could do?
  13. I changed my rear turn signal for red LED, did not add load resistor and they work just fine. The first time I started the car after installing them it said that my light was burned but I left my turn signal on for about 30sec and everything went back to normal. It's been 6months and they only did that once while driving since then. And I used some cheap LED bulb bought on eBay.
  14. Did you change your DRL/High beam too? I was looking to switch to LED but I'm worried about the bulb not being able to switch between these two intensities.
  15. When I had a 2012 Journey with the 4in screen I had the same problem. I took off the fuse for the radio for a night, put it back in and never had this problem again. Worth a try before going to the dealership.
