  1. I got the wife the exact same (easy) gift for X-mas. You can never go wrong with THAT gift. The local tint shop ram their little scanner on the back windows and said they were 18.5%. Thanks Dodge! The shop owner suggested 15% if a match is what I was going for. Little did I know that 30% is the legal limit in my neck of the woods.... Hey Merry Christmas honey, your brand new car is No Longer Street Legal. Oops, My bad. It's a pretty good match though! from the outside, all windows up, sun shining bright its very hard to see the difference. The front windows are a shade darker looking through them from the drivers seat.
  2. I'd suggest turning a screw or two & seeing exactly what the dealership was talking about. I really couldn't see my local stealership even trying "such nonsense" as to install an aftermarket part. It'ii probably plug right in. Good luck Charger.
  3. Hey Roberto! When are you expecting to get a chance to install these? I'm thinking this might be the 1st mod the wife lets me throw on "her" car..... sounds simple & modest enough. Hope it all goes well, keep us posted.
  4. I prefer to change the oil in my muffler bearing every 10,000. Usually with a full synthetic. Not in the DJ though, in the Ol RAM. --->The Turbo Actually<--- Isn't krazy how we always used to joke about it? What's next? How are they going to figure out how to add fluid to a light bulb? Haha....
  5. I always used a piece of scrap 2x4 with a 3/4" deep slit, about 3/8" wide, cut down the center. Not really deep enough to contact the body, mainly to keep the pinch weld from folding over. Just toss it right on top of the floor jack. I think using a Ol hockey puck would work great! Hey bfurth! how did it work out? Have you tried this? Surely you've had your DJ up in the air since you've originally posted this...ans how did the jack stand adapter work as well?
  6. Oh! Okay Camp. I wasn't even thinking that route. I guess the title of the thread threw me off. No worries. Well Hell! In that sense, is there anything that can be done with the color / brightness of all the little accent lights all over the cabin? Now that I think of it, there is probably already a thread for that. Oh well, just throwing it out there....
  7. Which lights are you replacing? I'm pretty sure my 2016 came with LEDs. The 2 little spot lights in the center roof console? I'm not really sure where their mounted threw out the real, I never sit back there. In fact the light on the inside of the rear lift gate is the only light that isn't LED
  8. I'm sure you are! It's nice when you can sincerely take credit for something people appreciate. I was just asking because I've heard that pulling apart the factory headlights were a real pain in the a$$. With myself already having the croosroad/black-out headlights, I don't think starting over from scratch with plain Jane headlight assembly would be the best route. To be honest I've never played with this sort of thing, so I'll be completely winging it after I pull out the bulbs. haha
  9. Wait! Why would I have to push it twice? @ jkeaton. Does that help any more then a one tap?
  10. Thank you Sir! I'll certainly do that.
  11. Hey Cody! Are you redoing the factory headlight housings, or are you working with an aftermarket part? the Ol halo setup you had before the accident were sick as hell! I'm pretty sure these Porsche style quad LED turns a few heads as well....
  12. the older red stripes certainly popped, however I really think this set up looks a lot better. nice ride man!
  13. That sounds like an upgrade I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind me tinkering with. How does one go about swapping the 4.3 for the 8.4 with Nav and camera?
