  1. Hello, I have a question. All cars I had before (Ford and two Toyotas) were able to confirm that all doors are properly closed when locking the car with the key or keyless button by blinking (i.e. when the car blinked, it confirmed that it is properly locked, otherwise it did not blink or even there was a sound alarm to notify the driver that the doors are not properly closed). However I am not able to make my Journey (in fact Freemont as I live in Europe) to do the same thing. It also blinks when locking, but it does not really mean anything, it does so even when some doors are not properly closed. Is there any option how to change settings to achieve this? I cannot seem to find any. Kind regards Michal
  2. Yes, I agree with the previous posters. In my case, after the second visit to the dealer, they gave it thorough check and finally replaced one of the control arms and the clunking is gone since then.
  3. Hello, I have the European sister of Journey, the Freemont, 3.6 V6 petrol, AWD. Recently, when braking from freeway speeds, or in when going steeply downhill I sometimes notice vibration in the steering wheel, sometime even the whole car. The dealer says (probably quite correctly) that the rotors are warped and should be replaced. My question is: Is this normal? The car has 25k miles (40k kms) on the odometer to me it is still relatively low mileage for rotor exchange. I have not used the car in any extraordinary manner (everyday city traffic to and from work and occasionally longer freeway trips). Any ideas / experiance. Kind regards Michal from Prague
  4. I have noted exactly the same thing on MY 2015 Fiat Freemont (EU version of the Journey). I have that inspected by the dealer and they found nothing wrong. It is a bit difficult to replicate this sound though, it occurs only in some situations, it is the best audible when you slightly brake and then go over some imbalance or bump on the road. The sound as such does not bother me much, as long as there is no issue with safety etc. I will rather have the dealer to re check this when I go for the ABS recall next week.
  5. Hi everybody, I have MY2015 Fiat Freemont (EU version of Dodge Journey) 3,6 AWD. I noted quite strange thing in the automatic transmission. In manual mode, it does not automatically shift down to gear 1 when the vehicle stops when the engine is not yet heated up to operating temperature. Then when the engine is heated, it works normally. Is this some type of protection of the transmission or fault?
