  1. I didnt do it yet But the cost would be around 1500. Its something i gotta do slowly. Looking at 5.5-5.9 0-60 and 1/4 mile times of 14.2 So they claim. Will post videos when done
  2. Im looking to tune my 2014 dodge journey 3.6L AWD SXT. Does anyone have any opinions on where to go? I have been in talks with a company called getoverkilled.com They have video and data backing them up on chrysler vehicles and even on the Journey. I have done a Ported lower intake manifold, I have ported my heads installed throttle body spacer and ported throttle body plus Cold air intake. Now i just need a tune. The company im talking to claims with what i have done I could see a 0-60 of under 6secs. Hp would increase to 345 and torque would be 320. The tune would be a 93 octane tune. They also offer 3 settings. Sport Eco and Stock
  3. I have a 2014 Journey AWD and i have the traction control button. If i push it i can spin all 4 tires but i noticed when i was driving in some mud messign around it wouldnt let me slide it the light on the dash came on and was dinging. is that the stability control? If so how do i turn this off? Is it just a matter of holding down the traction control button a few seconds?
  4. Yes I can weld it would definitely save me money I mean I could just try the resonator delete first I just don't want to much drone sound in the car because I have three kids not sure if they like the sound and it's not like I'm gonna be redlining nothing all the time I just want a nice deep sounding car
  5. Yes any all-wheel-drive vehicle needs the same size tires the dealership is the one that messed up on the tire size put in the right size in the front and bigger ones in the back needless to say after a week and a half of being in a rental car I got my journey back an the vehicle drives like a brand-new vehicle it's got the proper size tires now with the new valve body with solenoid pack. I did feel the issue upon driving but I decided to take a gamble and because it still had factory one T plus the warranty from the dealer I bought it from I figured I wouldn't have to have to pay a thing out of my pocket. Which I didn't have to everything was warranty coverage the dealer express the gratitude and they offered to pay my first two monthly payments for the wrongdoing on the part all in all I believe I made out pretty good so as of now my journey is driving like it should be I don't even feel it shift and I love it
  6. Ok thanks for the info and help. After research it seems taking the resonator off will make it sound ricey and that isn't what I want to do. Ill keep a resonator and do a low to no drone muffler.
  7. Ya that's what I'm saying they should have looked more into it. Yes I never feel it shift besides that 2nd into 3rd other then that it felt amazing
  8. Update they did another valve body and still the same thing. This time the AWD light came on. Well they looked at the tires and saw that the front were 225 and the rear had 245 from the dealership. So they are gonna put on new tires all around and see if it's still doing the rough shift. It's only been driven about 1000 miles I hope it hasn't caused more damage to like the v coupling or rear diff or even the transfer case. Granted everything is under warranty just would like 1 less headache. The owner before me beat the snot out of it. It was a repossessed lease. Only 30,000 miles on it
  9. Going by eye it does look like a 2.5in will try the string trick for sure
  10. Hey guys do any of you know the diameter of the exhaust and the resonator? im looking to do a resonator delete myself
  11. Ok so update dodge took my car in for service. They did the Overlapping clutch assembly and did a new valve body. 2nd gear still rough so they are keeping it to look deeper into the issue
  12. Hey guys just purchased a 2014 Dodge Journey SXT 3.6L AWD. It was used with 32,000 miles on it. It shifts rought from 2nd into 3rd. brought into Dodge for warrenty fix and they did a quick learn on it and claimed it will go away after 100 miles. Well ive driven 300 miles and the dealer told me " well thats how they shift" Needless to say i made a compliant and now they are kissing my butt and paying for my rental car to bring my car back to make everything right. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Its like a slam into 3rd gear. Also when it downshifts into that gear it shakes the car.
  13. OK guys new to the dodge family ive always driven a toyota but i decided to make the jump to dodge and recently purchased a 2014 Dodge Journey SXT 3.6L From my understanding of what i read and the couple pictures i saw the K&N 69-2546TS Air Intake that fits on the 2014 Dodge Avenger will fit on the Dodge Journey 3.6L almost identical. AM i correct? Also What do you guys think of the small upgrade in a CAI? Do you guys think its worth it to get the CAI or should i just stick with the K&N air filter?
