Hi Everyone, I'm having what sounds like this same issue on my 2014 Journey. Does anyone know if this repair is considered part of the powertrain warranty? It seems like it would be as the AWD system is part of Powertrain. I'm really hoping so as I have 2 months left. Thanks!

Right, but reading in other posts people have had viscous unit replaced and even transmission replaced. I'm thinking its how squeaky of a wheel you are, and what dealer you go to. example: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/5960-awd-shifting-hard/

How is it running now? I'm experiencing this and have an appointment for the dealer.

Mine does this too. It also does a kind of short repetitive clunks when accelerating from stop into a turn. Like at a stop sign turning. I have an appointment with dealer, because it actually is quite annoying. The clunk seems to be happening more often than not.

Sorry about that - I live in Pittsburgh, so we see a decent amount of snow and weather. Thinking all season, but possible get winter and all-season?
