  1. Hmmm, very interesting. I didn't think about that. It was slow to start initially after purchase; but, I dismissed it because it's not a brand new suv; but, very well maintained. I'll as the mechanic when he provides his next update. His manager was shocked that it took a week of it just sitting on the lot and trying it again and again before the problem was diagnosed. I on the other hand couldn't be happier. Thanks!
  2. It finally died at the mechanic and he realizes it was the starter. Optimistic, he is working to get the Bas and traction control lights to activate and diagnose the underlining problem. Staying tuned.
  3. Thank you for all of your responses!! The battery has tested fine with the mechanic but bad with Discount Auto Parts. Plusba full engine diagnostic prover useles without a check engine light. They couldn't recreate the start-up stain e battery issue after several attempts to start it up. This time, pop-a-lock confined mileage and date to help provide the mechanic with more information to go on since the last trip to the shop did not resolve the issue. My expectation is to change the battery; however, is the problem represents itself... Good thing hr extended warranty covers the provided suggestions.
  4. I have a 2009 Dodge Journey SXT. New radio installed and recently the battery has enough juice to turn on the interior lights; but, it won't turn over. There are no error codes to report to mechanics. They had it after the first instance and couldn't rplixate the problem. Two days later, it needed another jump still no error codes. 6 days ago I had 2 engine lights: ESP Bas and an icon that looks like a car and tire tracks. Yesterday, the truck wouldn't turn over and pop-a-lock double jumped it to get it running: cables on the connectors via their box and cables on the battery from his battery and it worked! Just dropped off vehicle to mechanic to hopefully recreate the problem. If they hadnt told me to drop it off with a free loaner, I would have paid for a full engine diagnostic tomorrow. Any ideas on what wrong? It only has 68k miles, I bought it a month ago and so I'm a little concerned on how to handle
  5. I have read the posts and I am experiencing a problem with the radio randomly turning on and off. I purchased my journey a few weeks ago and based on the uconnect site software updates are current for the 430 CD/DVD/mp3/hdd system. I am trying to provide the Carmax dealership as much info as possible to quickly resolve the issue for my 2009. Tsb 18-052-11 and tsb 08-048-11 do not appear to address my issue. What should my next step be?
