  1. Hi Marc where did you get the carbon fibre dash done from please? looks very nice

  2. I trial fitted my led lights to see what difference and its night and day. Just need to fit the resistor somewhere as the bloody thing get very hot. The R/H is standard, L/H is led 40w 4000Lm 6k output with a 50w 6Ohmj resistor.
  3. I don't have a link but got it from UK eBay, could most probley get from Amazon and like places. Just search "12v USB socket " scroll down and you'll see them. Hth.
  4. You still need to add mass to the box as fibreglass is nowhere near as dense as your baffle and will flex and you'll lose the depth/volume in the sound. What size subs did you install.
  5. That looks like a good start there, are you lining the box to stiffen it up Eg milkshake, resin.....
  6. It's nothing to do with sound stage with a sub as it's the vibration that locates a sub not your ears.
  7. Here in the UK it's to adjust the headlights up and down depending on how many people/luggage you have.
  8. Thanks. To hide the horrible chrome look, it still allows 99% of the light through and it's easily removed if needed.
  9. Over the last few nights I have been doing some modding to the DJ. I have flyeyed the headlights, side indicators, rear lights, 3rd brake light and the fogs/reflectors. I also covered the centre console with some 3m glossy carbon fibre vinyl, I also covered some of the front grill with it also. I changed the rear centre console power point for a duel usb power points. Here's the photos.........
  10. Can you not put a meter across the terminals of the speaker to find the Ohms, or find out what Ohms from the amp. If the amp is 1 Ohm like you think then the sub will be 2Ohm DVC wired to show a 1Ohm load at the amp.
  11. Hi there folks how do I remove the dash vents (face ones) I have managed to remove the speedo surround but can't remove the vents, I was a bit wary to pull to hard on the vent/surround and brake it. Regards Marc.
  12. Well that's me located the fuse I was after as all my fuses are under the bonnet (UK/USA model) only to find out the the one in the boot is the only one that's switchable, so I'm going to have to re-wire it at the fuse board.
  13. I am wanting to change my always on ones to only on with the key on my DJ 10 plate and read the manual and it tells me in there that the always on ones are switchable to come on with key only. Just need to find the fuse now, are the fuses not all located under the bonnet? If not where are they inside. Regards Marc.
  14. Yeah its not the fuse as I still have up and down movement. Shall have a look at the switch even though I can hear it making contact (clicks) it doesn't mean it is working properly though, shall give it a dose of spray electrical cleaner and go from there and report back. Thanks for the pointers. Regards Marc.
  15. The drivers seat in my DJ has stopped working, now I know if the seat is fully down it will not move forwards or backwards but mine will not move forwards or backwards no matter what hight it's at. Any hints, tips, or advice I'd be most grateful. Regards Marc.
