This Journey is a replacement for a 99 Olds Intrigue. It was the first car my wife has ever shopped for, and bought
on her own. She is very picky about what she drives and at first wanted a small SUV like the Kia 2011 Sportage
or the Hyundai Santa Fe. Our kids have one Escape, one Equinox and one Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have an older
Jeep Cherokee also. So we really didn';t need another go anywhere vehicle.

Did drive down to look at new Jeep and the price scared us away. Even with incentives, I could just not justify things.
That dealer also sold Dodges and that was the first time we really LOOKED at a Journey. The more we looked, the more we liked.
After owning a Minivan many years ago, and liking them, we had wished that something was available that was more
in between a minivan and an SUV. I think Dodge made the segment again with this vehicle.
