Hello,
I have 2.0 CRD engine in my Journey SXT, I am living in Belgium. It is good engine from VW concern, but I think Dodge forgot to eliminate the noise of this engine. I have already installed Dynamat Hoodliner on the hood, but I think it is not enough for me. Any experience, or idea how to solve it?

I know what he means. Outside it sounds almost agricultural!!! But its good inside...just a slight drone, fractionally more than others i think but not worth worrying about. So i shall continue to make noise outside....

Ahh, ok gotcha. I just wouldn't worry about. Diesel = loud most of the time anyways :P

Ok, but anyway, if I compare it with other cars in the same class, the diesel engine is more noise eliminated than in Journey

Hi jonty here in the uk.I have 2.0l diesel crd sxt,and the engine is very noisy outside and inside.I have had many diesels and this one is by far the loudest. The engine just dosent seem very refined, it very rough on acceleration and I get some vibration through the body shell and floor panels. Have been back to dealer , but no luck.I don't realy have much faith in them anyway, after my experiences in the past.
